
Most Major League Baseball fans know how much talent the Los Angeles Dodgers have on their roster regularly.
Their roster is loaded with star players year in and year out and they possess the 3rd largest payroll in the MLB in 2024.
With all of the big names on the Dodgers roster, one player is standing out from the rest by quite a large margin.
According to MLB Stats on ‘X,’ Shohei Ohtani has broken the record for most home runs in Dodgers history.

Ohtani had one of the best games in MLB history on Thursday where he had 6 hits in 6 at-bats with 3 home runs and 10 runs batted in.
The 3 home runs on Thursday landed him at 51 total for the season and made him the franchise leader in home runs in a single season.
He surpassed some big names on this list including Adrian Beltre, Cody Bellinger, and Gary Sheffield.
Not only was his game on Thursday historic for the home run total, but he also became the first player in MLB history with a 50/50 season including 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases.
On the season, Ohtani is batting .294 with 51 home runs, 51 stolen bases, 120 runs batted in, and a 1.005 on-base plus slugging percentage.
The Dodgers have a record of 91 wins and 62 losses on the season the Dodgers have locked up a playoff spot and are preparing for a 2024 postseason run.
They will look to their big guns Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman to lead them in their search of a World Series title.
