The San Diego Padres will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in game 3 of the National League Division Series on Tuesday night at Petco Park in San Diego.
After a blowout win Sunday over the Dodgers 10-2, the Padres have all of the momentum for game 3 as they return home.
One Padres player has stood out from all the rest thus far in the postseason, and he is putting up video game-type numbers.
According to MLB on ‘X,’ Tatis is putting up impressive numbers in the 2024 playoffs.

Tatis has started his 2024 postseason off with a bang as through 4 games, he has 9 hits in 14 at-bats with 3 home runs, 5 runs batted in, 3 walks, and 7 runs scored.
His overall postseason numbers include a .444 batting average in 10 games played with 5 home runs, 10 runs batted in, and a 1.528 on-base plus slugging percentage.
After not playing in the postseason since the COVID-19-shortened year in 2020, Tatis has picked up right where he left off.
Tatis appears to have a knack for the big moments as he has picked up his game in the postseason thus far.
In the regular season, Tatis batted .276 with 21 home runs, 49 runs batted in, and a .833 on-base plus slugging percentage.
The Padres are looking to get back to the National League Championship Series to avenge their loss in 2022 to the Philadelphia Phillies.
Tatis will look to continue his red-hot performance against the Dodgers on Tuesday for game 3, with game 4 coming the very next day on Wednesday.
Game 5, if necessary, will be back at Dodger Stadium for a do-or-die game.
